When I go to use PA Soft on my 97 Z3 E36 it reads the vehicle ID but for some reason cannot see the EWS or IKE. I know that I do not have an IKE on the 97 model so that part isn’t an issue. But my EWS seems to have unsynced from the DME. Any suggestions on getting that to work? Or even better can someone suggest me a good EWS delete chip? All answers all welcomed seeing that I have tried many things!

EWS cannot unsync from your dme unless you changed the DME out for a second hand one.
Ideally you should read the codes in the dme and in the ews module and see what comes up. EWS delete should not be the first option.
Post codes here and with what is happening, and we can help.
Also, identify the car fully.
