    Exhaust Db Levels - S52

As I continue my build, I'm evaluating the exhaust setup based on aftermarket headers, supersprint catless resonators - without any muffler. Was wondering if anyone has any info on a similar setup and their measured Db levels for track use. Some of the tracks in my area have limits and I don't want to get pulled due to lack of muffling - Lime Rock is probably the most restrictive.

    Mainly stock S52
    Supersprint knock-off headers
Supersprint catless center with resonators only

Was planning to delete mufflers and just run the resonators to tips. I know there's a lot of variation on the level of noise based on length, etc, but if anyone has a typical rear exit similar to this and knows their Db levels at WOT on a straight - I'll likely know if its feasible or if I'll need to add some level of muffler, noise reduction.

You won't pass without a muffler of some sort.
I run the ss racelands to a 3" And ended up with 2 borla mufflers and a turndown.

With the dual pipes most of the popular catback race mufflers will pass, and the right resonator can help with the rasp.

Thanks - think a Supertrapp diffuser would be sufficient.

some folks keep a supertrapp around as an add on. Good for if your right on the edge.
Without an open end cap a supertrapp is liable to be restrictive.

Palmer is almost as bad as LRP
