E38 sporty shorty for sale

I have 2 - 2000 e38 sporty shortys. I ‘sold’ 1 to my son when he graduated from college. Over the years - I maintained it for - just so he could drive it when he had time. But - it’s become a financial burden to maintain both e38’s and my ‘03 e53 4.6is. I’d like to sell it to someone who would like to keep it up and drive it - not part it out. If there’s anyone interested in it - dm me and I’ll provide pics and details. It’s been sitting for awhile in my garage and I just can’t see letting it deteriorate any further. It’s in remarkable condition - and drives like new. Just needs a few small repairs and a cut + buff.

It’s on the US mainland - here in Charlotte NC some current pics ..











The interior is mint - excluding a repair needed to the center console carbon fiber cover plate. Engine needs 2 new valve covers and gaskets. Oil service. Engine has 200k on it but runs like new after $$$ keeping it repaired over the last 15 years. Chain job and complete vanos and all accessories replaced. Coils plugs valley pan pcv spark plugs rear water jacket cover plate rebuilt trans catalytic converters headers and precats strut bat H&R stage 2 springs bilstein sports and 4 x shadow chromed spare m-parallel wheels. All factory electronics work sunroof repair windshield door mirrors all window regulators door actuators door shades and door locks / and too many others to list .....will send pics of what it looked like before it went into storage

I think this qualifies as a For Sale post, as MayorChuck said, you need to provide an asking price, otherwise, this turns into a private/PM bidding contest and future readers of this thread won't be provided with any valuable info. Pics, Asking Price and Car Details are common courtesy for any for sale post on any forum.

On the other hand, if you came on here and asked "what's my car worth?" and users started posting their ideas and you started entertaining offers as a result of it, that might be different, but either way, prices need to be posted in this thread.

I would’ve put this on bring a trailer or craigslist or autotrader - but I’m not interested in getting it sold to someone who wants to part it out ... I’m interested in someone who wants to bring it back to driving condition - and I have no idea what it’s worth. I never intended to sell it - it was a gift to my son when he graduated from college - the car belongs to him -he asked me to see what I could get for it. He isn’t a car guy and has no interest in keeping it - now that he’s married. If I’ve violated some forum policies on trying to sell something here - you’ll have to excuse me. I’ve never attempted to sell any of my own cars - because I only buy cars I want to keep. I’m not a car dealer.
