I recently installed first 95A poly diff bushings then, 75A rtabs poly bushings. Then finally yesterday 95A poly subframe bushings. And before anyone ask I checked subframe mounts and they are not cracked at all. I plan on doing the reinforcements during the summer and I plan to drive this on nice country roads and not slam the gears and stress the mounts. But I was wondering after the subframe mounts I hear a small tapping sound when driving forward coming from the rear. It gets faster when accelerating but when in neutral it doesn’t really do it. It’s really faint and I’ve replaced lots of suspension components. I’m assuming it’s the lsd making noise but I’m just wondering
Is anything touching an axle? A brake cable, the exhaust, perhaps? Also check clearance to the driveshaft. Diffs don’t usually tick, but the do whine.
