Need advice on what Bimmer to buy. Looking for 2011-2015 3 or 5 series

Hey guys, Happy New Year. I’m looking to buy a used bmw and I would prefer to buy a model that won’t have as many issues down the line. Switching over from my Audi. I’m interested in a 5 series or 3 series as I’ll be driving frequently which can save me some gas. I’m looking to spend no more money than $15k. So far I’ve seen a lot of 2011-2014 328i and 528i’s with some having active hybrid and sports line engine. Any advice would be of big help

Unfortunately they all seem to have issues what kind of car are you coming from
