BMW E36 CD43 alternative?

Hello and happy new year.

What are the alternatives for the OEM BMW E36 cd/radio, in terms of look mainly? Not only for color illumination, but also for the design. Something that has somewhat a classic look.
I know only Becker Trafic Pro and Vdo. I think Vdo has very nice and classic design but it has no amber color.

Any other idea? I mean not something like this, which you can match the color but the desing does not fit with the E36 interior.

Nothing looks as right as an OEM unit. Cd43 is my radio of choice in my m3. There are a couple like the clarion fz102e that come close but they are a euro market product that I believe hasnt been made in years lol

Blaupunkt SQR46 if you want to go all-out. I'd say the look skews a little older than E36, but it's one of the few units with an 80's/90's look in mind. Pricing is crazy though. Crutchfiled sometimes has them for $450, that's the lowest I've seen. Been debating it for the e30, but man, that's a hard pill to swallow...

I was dead set on a modded CD43, Then considered modding a C33 but the performance was so so at best... Also it
was risky to buy / mod and then still run into issues + everyone wants too much for them. I weighed all my options
and I was huge on it matching the OEM aesthetics as well as working good.

After reading countless threads on here I went with an Alpine CDE-HD149BT and modded the LCD Panel ( simple, got the idea from another member ).

This matches the BMW Amber Illumination 100% + has a similar pixeled font, Alpine to me always look at home in BMWS and its not flashy and spaceship/roundedlooking ( SORRY ABOUT THE PIC SIZE ) ..

I have zero complaints, It looks semi OEM + Matches the style of the E36 with tons of options and high quality sound.
