So for a couple months I've been dealing with the same problem coolant leaks from damaged thermostats. The back hose for the thermostat to the water pump, the nozzle the hose wraps around gets smashed then cracks from the thermostat end. This is my second thermostat in 2 months so I know something is doing it the only thing in the area is a line that kinda almost sits directly under that hose moves and gets stuck under that nozzle...I'm assuming when I drive hit pot holes etc it hits the thermostats break the nozzles on the back. The only way to relieve that tension is to pull the line down a little and a part of it will sit directly under the water pump creating a gap between the hose/thermostat nozzle and the line itself
My question is how do I secure it to prevent it from beating my thermostat to death 😂
