I flashed my ‘13 E92 335i today for the first time with Stage 1 MHD. It worked fine and when I got home I edited the burble settings and reflashed. I followed all the directions and started my car again. When I tried to go into reverse I felt a hard clunk that shook the whole car and dropped the rev’s. This is the first time it ever happened and it’s weird cause I never touched the transmission software just DME. I turned the car on and off and it continued every time I switched between park and reverse . I went to drive around the block and tried again and it stopped doing it and hasn’t returned since. The car drives fine now and shifts alright. This got me a little worried that maybe something is happening or happened with the transmission does anyone have any insight?
It’s a 2013 335i E92 with 92k miles and the ZF6 Auto. I got it with 85k and I’m not aware of transmission fluid being done before but I plan on that soon.
Hey! I had this same issue. It was more than just a clunk for me too. It felt like the trans fell out of the car. I figured it out tho, let the car sleep after flashing. So after you’re done with the flash, turn everything off and wait for like 30 min and you should be good to go.
