These seats were removed from a 1985 BMW 325 somewhere around year 2000 and were replaced with good used seats. These are BMW manual Sport seats and I've been told they were sourced from Recaro. Over the years I've had them reupholstered and then mounted them on bases fabricated from 2" exhaust pipe, bent and welded, so the seats bolt to the bases using the original seat rails. I thought they looked great in my living room for gaming and watching TV but the wife didn't have the same opinion. The material is cloth and in a color and pattern used by Volkswagen a few years back. I had asked the seat guy to do the seats in something that looks nice but not too expensive and that I was in no rush. What you see is what I got. The seat backs and the seat lifts work using two high pressure gas springs for each function. All eight of these gas springs have been replaced, so everything works. The thigh bolster also extends and retracts. Anyway, considering the cost of the replacement seat, the re-upholstery and the high pressure springs, there is way more invested than what I'd like to get for this pair of seats. Make a reasonable, non-insulting offer. There's only one pic right now but I'll post a couple more very soon. These are local pick up only unless you want to arrange to have them picked up and then shipped.
Can't get the pic to show up. Here's a link: http://www.threedogs.net/e30seats/E30_DriverSeat-1cr.jpg
