Selling my dream car due to health issues. I no longer am able to use a clutch comfortably. There are some minor items that need to be addressed with the drivers seat and the sunroof, otherwise a really nice car. 155k miles, drives great, very tight, A/C blows cold, 18" staggered MPARs, clean interior, I would drive it anywhere. $9500. Clean title.
Thanks for looking

Ok, so there were over 100 views in 24 hours without a single comment. Priced too high? Too many miles? Need more info? Clutch replaced at 90k. Suspension redone in stages over the years. Shocks are Bilstein Sports I believe. Cooling system twice. O2 sensors within last 25k miles.
I would prefer to sell this to a BMW enthusiast, willing to consider offers within reason.

@gnilson - Fix the orientation of your pictures
@potentialbuyers - This config is the goldilocks of the e39 range, it's juuuuust right.
Looks like regular maintenance has been done, miles shouldn't scare anyone, my 530iA is still chugging at 207k
Maybe because your photos are terrible? A clean E39 is a handsome car, so show it off! Take some decent pictures and you'll probably get more interest.

Sure!
Stock manual transmission sport package 530s in good condition are hard to come by these days (I should know, I have one too!). Good presentation will net you a good result, even with the relatively high miles. Look how well this one did, with great pictures:

Below is a URL to better pics. I'm still trying to figure out how move them directly into the thread.

Would this car drive cross country as is?
Can you be a little more specific on the work needed on sunroof and drivers seat please?

The sunroof motor functions but one of the pulleys or a cable need to be replaced as it does not function properly. The seat cable sheathing has stretched and needs to be trimmed and reinstalled. This is a common problem for this era and I have done it on at least 3 of my previous BMWs as well as this one. There are a number of posts detailing how this is done, but it only costs you time to fix it.

Hi Geoff, I tried to PM you, but I'm not sure whether it worked (I'm new here . If you get that message, great! If not, I'm wondering whether this is still available. Thanks!

Still available? Interested
As someone who has owned both a 530i Sport 5 spd and 540i M Sport, I agree that this car (530i Sport) is the sweet spot of the E39 range. It is more reliable, offers about 80% of the engine performance of the V8 with much better gas mileage, and handles better too. Seller's price seems fair as long as the suspension has been refreshed and there are receipts to prove it. The biggest suspension issue at this mileage is probably the rear ball joints. When they are worn out, you get clunking and some wandering from the back end at highway speeds if the road is not perfectly smooth. Most owners never replace them unless they are true enthusiasts. Assuming the suspension has had a full refresh over the years, I would buy this if I did not already own one. GLWS
