    Heater Box Flap Hinge

So im finally getting around to fixing my HVAC and got the heater box out. While examining it i notice one of the flaps hinge is broken. Just wanted to know if anyone knows what i can use to replace this.IMG_20201203_194019.jpgIMG_20201203_194009.jpg

That particular hinge was fine on mine when I went through the HVAC and replaced all the vac pods. But the large one in the middle had broken. I could not find one, and ended up drilling about 15 to 20 holes on each side, then making little wire loops from stainless wire. Kind of like a spiral notebook, except individual loops instead of a spiral. Come to think of it the spiral from a notebook might work even better, cut to length.
Pretty labor intensive, and it takes some fiddling to make sure it doesn't bind, but it has been together and working for eight years now.
    Sorry, I didn't take pics.

Update for anyone with similar issues. I drilled a hole through the plastic and put a bolt and nut with a washer. My other option was going to be to make a identical piece with wood or metal.
