Any recommendations for painting the carpet thresholds and the kick panels???

I just picked up an E66 with a rare Natur Braun interior. Of course, the carpet thresholds and the kick panels look like crap. They are NLA from BMW. I am fine painting them--although has anyone found a paint color that matches?

finding a paint that will stick is your biggest challenge. I would try polishing them up first. if they are too far gone, then do a thorough prep and paint.

There is no polishing--BMW painted the plastic when new. Big scrapes of paint are missing and the primer or even plastic shows through.

Remove and wrap with vinyl carbon fiber or some other Dinoc film

We used to replace those under warranty all the time I loved how bmw couldnt just mold the plastic cover in the correct color rather than painting it on
