    Pricing ///M Coupe Seats

I’m trying to get a feel for what MCoupe seats in good condition go for. I may be parting ways with a set I’ve had in my car for many years now. They’re black leather m coupe seats. My favorite feature is that since they’re from a Coupe, they don’t have the crapppy plastic seatbelt holder. The driver side has a very small amount of wear and the passenger side is perfect. Both seats motors are fine, but they both need the bushings replaced. They both move forwards because of the bushings.

I’ve been trying to figure out what they go for by searching other adds, but the prices are all over the place. Any guidance would be great.

I can post pics because I don’t have an account on any pic sharing site, but I’m happy to email or share through Instagram (@dimm6)

    Thanks in advance.

Tough one. M Roadster seats seem to sit unsold for months on eBay in the $1300 range. Shipping can also obviously factor in, as they weigh around 70lb apiece all packaged up. If you find someone local or have the ability to pallet ship, you'd move them more quickly I'd imagine. I had an entire Imola interior pallet shipped for under $300.

A couple years back I bought a set of M seats off eBay for around $450 shipped. The leather was pretty rough but I was planning on reupholstering them anyways so this is just what I was looking for. Found a seller on eBay selling new leather for around $400 for a set. The leather isn't the best but hard to complain at that price.

I sold my pristine Oregon Beige M seats for $1200 about a year ago picked up. Black is more common so maybe a bit less.

I picked up a pretty rough pair for $350 on Craigslist several years back. I bought new seat belt tensioners, had new red seatbelts added onto a set of mint retractors, and then added more tension. I bought a nice black leather set for $250 and reupholstered myself them while steaming and reinforcing the foam bolsters. Brand new seatbelt guides, delrin slop spacers, and they look and feel great. The leather is more coarse and pebbly than the originals and not as perfect of a fit for sure, but also much more grippy in the corners.

So all in less than 1k. Worth every penny over the original standard seats. Took a solid weekend to do the delrin bushing and reupholstered/cleaning work.

I’m not replacing the seats. I’m most likely going to part out the car.

Well, I know you're in NJ, but based on what I see here in Charlotte, I would advertise them for 9 kazillion dollars. That is at least what all the ones around here are advertised for.

I look for a while, I really did, but finally the used market drove me so nuts I Just installed a Sparco.
