G30 530i reliability

I’m debating buying mine off it’s lease as it is way below miles at 20k mi. The residual however is steep and they aren’t willing to negotiate. Do you recommend I buy or just lease another one in anticipation of problems arising in this complex car?

The engines and cars are too new to really judge long term reliability. But from what I've seen, they seem to be pretty solid. Aside from a couple minor issues (some water pumps leaking, the coolant vent hose under the intake, and maybe the telematics battery), we don't see any real major issues.
