Heads up for you BMW CCA members

BMW use to automatically send out membership pins for every 5 years of membership. A never received my 20 year pin. I called them a few weeks ago to inquire about them.
BMW no longer send them out, you have to call and request them.

To be honest I’ve never done anything with them. I think there may be one or two of them tossed into my top desk drawer at work. Perhaps the CCA has recognized this so only sends them out when requested.

And I’ve also used a couple of the larger BMW CCA grill thingies that I either won or was sent...as “Xmas” ornaments. I hung some Xmas garland around my desk at work and used the BMW CCA plaques as ornaments. . I have no plan to attach them to the car...so again, they just got tossed into a drawer when I received them.

I let my membership lapse, I just didn't see any benefit. There is no local chapter in my area and the magazine has gone downhill. When I was in Norfolk we had a great group of guys and gals and had a bunch of events and everyone had fun.

CCAs were of greater use when forums didn’t exists
