So Ive been fixing up my rig
A sunroof seak failure, leak, and soaking of my floor ruined my under passenger seat/carpet power distribution fuse box so i replaced both
Waiting on the green airbag sensor near the PDFB
I took care to flag and take a picture of the wires before doing the work
Car starts now but runs a little rough
Its giving me E3 E4 C6 CA
Which are O2 sensor issues according to my bavarian autosport obd2 readers book
They had been replaced previously
And I did it one at a time so as not to mix them up and plug them into the wrong sockets, possibly I made a mistake, or if i didnt, maybe a previous maintenance it happened.
Either way, is there info that might help me figure it out?
Also A4 which says A/C compressor relay
Is this the reason my HVAC interior fans wont come on now that I have it running?
Ive tried searching and havent gotten much results that seem helpful
So anything anyone feels like throwing my way is appreciated
Ok E3 and E4 are o2 adaptation codes not faulty o2 sensor codes. Basically anything that screws with the air fuel ratio could call this. The o2 sensors are throwing the fuel trims out of range to compensate for excess or insufficient air. Check your basics intake elbow cracks, vacuum leaks, and other things like that. I think its +/- 10% before it throws this code, could be a faulty maf sensor as well.
C6 is a catalytic converter code and that further convinces me you are having an issue with vacuum leaks or a maf sensor, here is what I would do.
First check the air filter, shine a light through one side and if you can see it through the other its good. Follow the intake tract and verify it is crack free on the main tube and the one for the idle air control valve, mine cracked on the inside of the bend for the tube on my e46 and wasn't visible until I removed the hose. This is a super common issue. Check the DISA valve seal and make sure the DISA valve works. I would then check all the ccv hoses for cracks and see if the ccv valve is faulty (check for mayonnaise like oil in the upper ccv hose). If that all checks out good check every vacuum line. After that I would begin to suspect the maf sensor as faulty.

Hey thanks for the info
Ill get on that asap
E3 - O2 sensor adaptation limit, cylinders 1-3
E4 - O2 sensor adaptation limit, cylinders 4-6
C6 - Catalytic converter efficiency, cylinders 1-3
CA - O2 sensor control limit, cylinders 1-3
I'm sorry to say, but you're likely in big trouble: you have failing catalytic converters (currently bank 1-3). This is a common problem on facelift E39s. Search this forum for recent discussions.
Turns out my ECU and SRS modules are "corrupted"
Place wanted $4,217 to replace them with new ones
Anyone have any recommendations on module repair places?

I seriously doubt that. Someone is just trying to take your money.
Either dive in and start troubleshooting or find an honest BMW specialist.
I would start by doing the basics. Check all fuses in the car. Look for poor connections and further corrosion, since you had water infiltration. Check the short term and long term fuel trims and MAF value at hot idle to get a sense of the pre-cat O2 sensor and fuel managment performance. I’d also do an exhaust backpressure test to check for clogged cats. Looking at all four O2 sensor voltages at hot idle will tell you if they’re working or not.
Since the engine starts and runs, it’s not likely a “corrupted” DME. Look for the common problems first, systematically eliminating potential causes along the way.

Its a common enough issue that multiple places offer repair
Ive been researching the issue
