Clutch Master Cylinder Hard Line Failure

Has anyone else had this happen? Spent a ton of time verifying it wasn't the new parts that I had fail including getting a warranty replacement on my master cylinder, verified that the new soft line didn't split, put a hose clamp on the soft line, bled the lines 3 times, stripped the interior carpet so that if anything like this ever happens again it will be a quicker cleanup. Just baffled at how it happened, but at least it's a good excuse to get a chase bays one piece line that runs direct from the master to the slave cylinder.

The two pieces I skimped on were the hard line and the slave cylinder which I'll be replacing pretty soon anyway so I might just do it all at once.

Is it leaking? Rusted out? The hard line is just a steel line. If it's not leaking, plugged, kinked or crushed it's good. What is the problem you are having with the clutch?
