2008 328i pass rear window is stuck down and no motor sound.
The other windows function as normal.
Removed door panel and replaced the motor/regulator (the cable was broken). No motor sound or movement.
The window warning is on the dash with an exclamation point.
I would assume that the 4 windows are all on one fuse.
Any ideas? Thanks
Swap the switch left to right and also check the frm module for faults ( footwell module )
Did you replace only the regulator? Or the regulator and the motor? You can check for power/ground at the motor connector. Put your volt meter leads on the two large wires and have someone press the switch and see if you get voltage.

***SOLVED***this will save others a lot of time.
If your window regulator breaks and causes a no power situation to the affected window (with the wonderful warning triangle and window with exclamation point on the dash), disconnect the negative battery terminal while you replace the regulator. IMPORTANT-make sure your trunk lid has a key lock or you won't be re able to open the trunk (without a hassle)with the battery disconnected. Either do not close the trunk or put a rag over the latch so it cannot lock closed.
When the neg cable is reconnected it will reset the power to the window motor, you may then need to reinitialize the pinch protection. Power the window to the up position until it stops up. Hold the window button up for 5-10 secs, then roll window to down position. When down hold the button for 5-10 secs and that's it.
