Hey everyone,
I'm looking to buy 118i or 120i, 2017 or newer. Do you guys have any advice or "heads up" for me?
I value the experience of other owners and would like to hear good and bad sides of this model.
More information better I will be prepared when shopping comes.
Definitely have the car undergo a pre-purchase inspection performed by a shop that specializes in bimmers. All used cars have issues. Make sure the shop writes down each issue along with the cost to fix the issue. Also, modern bimmers need to have their cooling systems overhauled at 100k miles/160k kms. So, if the car is getting close to that threshold you should factor is the cooling system cost. The installation of aftermarket cooling system parts is strictly verboten!
Since they're available to you in your area, go for a 118d or 120d instead

Thanks for the valuable info MarcoZandrini!
I'm looking on famous German car selling site and one of the parameters is that it must be from official seller.
Aiming for the car under 60K kms / 37.5K miles with full service history, but still gonna ask for car number and check it in BMW shop (pull info from BMWs database).
Looks like you’re doing it right.
