Running an M50 on an MS 41.1 ECU

Ill spare the details but bottom line is I'm looking to run an M50 in a 98 318 and I need to retain the functionality of the OBD 2 port (for emissions). Can the M50 be run off a stock MS 41.1 ECU (provided it has an EWS and SAP delete)?

Bump, still looking for answers but I think a 323 ECU should do the trick with an 323 harness. Can anyone confirm this?

You can do it but will need the m52 euro crank sensor that is mounted on the timing cover like the m50 uses but it is a different type of sensor (hall versus induced current or something along those lines). You will need the m52 engine harness.
