    After I got the material from the online-shop it took me less than one hour to make the new bowdens. Much easier than expected. Measuring the exact lenght was the most work.

    If you don’t want to do this, joying sells a 7.1” that fits pretty well.

    Hey bro,

    just got my Z3 and get everything out, also figured out how to extend the wires.

    And a new problem come, how do you settle the radio because the double din unit quite heavy

    I saw you installed a double din metal frame.

    I used a mounting frame which I epoxied from the back to the upper panel. This upper pannel is quite stable, at least stable enough to carry the head unit.
