Which unit did you buy? There's a possibility that coding may be necessary to complete the installation.

I could find no reference to that unit on any of the bimmer forums I frequent. Have you reached out to the company for support?

I have a 2008 528xi... I have the Avin Android 10 unit w/ 8.8" touchscreen and 4G sim card. When I installed mine, I chose the Aux splitter cable. It connects to be able to use an outside aux source and the unit has to connect to the Aux. So when I toggle from within the CCC system to aux, that's how I get sound. Yours might need to do the same.

there isn't an aux input on the unit. i believe i need an aux adapter to connect from the unit to the aux under the glove compartment. but i can't find the aux adapter anywhere to purchase.
something like this but for e60:

This is what Avin had on their site:

    https://avinusa.com/aux-auxiliary-au...mwauxcbl1.html

But that is if your car does not have Aux originally. You mentioned yours is in the armrest... just like mine. From my Android unit, mine had a 3.5mm aux cable, which I connected to my aux splitter cable. One side went to the glovebox where it is the new location to plug anything in.... the second end of the splitter went to my arm rest aux plugin.\

** Can you post a pic of the wiring and back side of your android unit??

I wish I could help but the Avin unit specifically has wires in their harness that connects to the AUX input through the back of the iDrive. So if you get an Avin, there is no additional wiring needed. Unfortunately, my harness is installed Perhaps someone has detailed pictures of how the Avin is wired? Or look through their accessories site and see if you can order their harness for the e60 separately?
