    750il Front Seat Swap Question........

So, my 2000 750il came with the basic seats. I unfortuantely did not get the good stuff. And my interior color is that caramel color, and not black, because that would just too easy . But I'd really like to get into the higher end seats. I can't seem to find a set in the color I need out of any E38 part-outs. So started looking at e39's and so far no luck. Now I'm thinking maybe need to find a set of e38 beige or other lighter color and send out the skins to be re-dyed to match.

Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on this ??

You should have comfort seats, active? You could put in sport seats or E39 M5 seats. If you are looking to match that color it would be a long shot to find a set that don't need a re-dye anyway. I would find the seats you want and re-dye them to match.

E-60 seats may work as all of the controls are in the seat. Next time I'm snooping the seats in my car I will take a look at the plug, the mounts are different for sure.

You have a 750 / that should have Active Comfort 16 way adjustable. Does the backrest adjust in the middle? And is ‘caramel’ a darker color that some call tobacco? If so, those are nice seats. E39 seats are not as nice - you get the sport bolster option, but the backrest in an e38 is nice....

This may not be a perfect solution, but if you can find a good set of active, heated seats, with all the motors working (leather can be bad), have a pro auto leather guy swap out the leather from your seats.
