I messaged @someguy2800 for my previous project m50b20 turbo, it has had a lot of support. But with the m50b20 the power would be insufficient. Now I have a 6-speed m54b30 with a cylinder pressure of 170. I am considering swapping this engine to e21.

However, I do not intend to open it at all. I don't know how healthy it is but I will walk with a max 15lbs boost. What are your advice without putting a thicker gasket and changing the head screws?
The parts I will use are;
- VEMS ecu (controlled double vanos and im not use DBW, gear by boost, map conversation)
- AEM 2 nozzle on charge pipe WMI
- K20 ignition coils (or Bosch P65 ignition coils)
- M50 intake manifold with stock m50 throttle body
- Custom exhaust manifold
- Bosch 040 980cc FlexFuel Injector
- Bosch 044 Fuel pump
- Holset HX40 Turbo
- DKM MS Dual organic clutch (Twin plate)
I will stay on a 12lbs boost with WMI kit daily drive. I am working on my exhaust manifold, there are very sharp places. I keep correcting.

I am open to all your suggestions but I would like to stay at 10.2 CR.
Will I have a problematic swarm if I don't replace the head screws and head gasket? What are your experiences?

There is no issue with staying @ stock CR with that much boost if you have enough octane for it.
However I wouldn't trust the HG in that motor and would put a fresh one in with either headstuds or fresh OEM bolts at the minimum.
I'm going to inject water and methanol. Octane and intake air temperature will not be a problem.
Actually I want to renew.
The question is;
10.2 CR problem?
Are the pistons durable?
What is the maximum boost he can handle?
I don't want to use a thick head gasket when I'm renovating. I will renew the valve guides, head screws and head gasket. Maybe I can just use ARP.
The ESS twin screw kit for M54B30 runs 8 psi. I think I would just go with 10 psi and see if 400hp is scary enough for you in an E21?

I am a good standalone tuner. However, I've always worked on Japanese engines. 2jz, rb25, rb26, rb30, sr20.
I've seen many sources. The M54 is a very efficient motor to get power. VANOS system, CAM structure, crankshaft etc ..
The people I spoke with said it wouldn't be a problem to get power from my engine.
They said the problem would be too much power at sample pressures like 15-18lbs and the piston would be damaged if I don't use decompression plate.
They mentioned that this is not related to detenation and that the piston is not durable above 450whp.

Yes, there is no problem with the rods. Many people say that there will be no problems up to 600whp.
So don't exceed 450 WHP. At 12 psi, you'll be around 350 WHP. That should be plenty of headroom.

I would about ring gaps , thats what destroyed my m54b30 pistons
for around 400hp, i would just put the engine in and call it a day. if you want to disassemble it, i would at least change oil rings and the mentioned head gasket and studs. and be aware that the drivability of a strong e21 is horrible. the OEM front axle construction is suicidal. even at just 12 psi out of the sxe 362 on my setup it becomes hard to control, let alone be anywhere fast and safe in corners.
