    Car Detailed

Is it worthwhile to get a car detailed before taking it to the dealer to ask for a trade in on it?

vacuum the inside, give it a quick wipe down, take it to a dollar self-service car was to remove any crazy dirt..

Dealerships have their own detail department and the sell price isn't going to be worth what you're going to pay to have it detailed..

Heck no, as zatu mentioned DIY.

Unless you have big paint damage, getting your car detailed for $100 or more is not going to add any value to the purchase price.
