    Whistling noise on acceleration then drive train malfunction

    2012 BMW X3 35i m performance 110,000 miles.
    On acceleration there is always a whistling noise. Sometimes on acceleration the drive train will malfunction.
    Has anyone experienced this situation both problems are annoying.
