Why doesn't Real OEM show all parts for my car even after punching in serial number?

I have spent the better part of 3 days trying to find the outer rubber weather strip for the front doors.

Real OEM shows me the correct parts for the "hinten" window (which I finally realized means rear) windows just fine. My vehicle serial # is 1941271

It does not show the rubber outer weather strip for my front doors no matter how hard I look.

It does show a piece of weather strip for a sedan door with a frame. The front door on a convertible has no frame so the weather strip shown won't fit unless the illustration is dead wrong.

I would think it should show front door illustrations for convertibles right?

My strip is 26" long with an angle at one end and a 1/2" notch at the other so it will seat properly at the end of the door. (See pic of my trashed strip)

Help! I have browsed dozens of sites on the web and punched in probably 30 different part #s but none of them seem to fit my car.

Is the photo wrong on Real OEM? Its definitely not displaying a door without a frame.

This is making me feel completely incompetent.

thats the rear window. hence 'hinten' in the names of the weather strips.

Yep, that *looks* like the front window but its not. it just shows the parts of that back window exploded out.

This will make it more clear:

As for your second link, that weatherstrip is for a sedan door; not convertible unless the illustration is wrong.

If I punch in that trim # on other sites it says it doesn't fit my car.

#5 for the outer front door weatherstrip. Search the part number on ECS tuning for pics.

thats it!! It didnt say weather strip on the illustration so i ignored it thinking it was a plastic or metal trim component.

Sometimes the ETK requires a bit of voodoo magic to figure out what's in there.
