Remove footwell light f33

I am attempting to install door sill lights. I had no trouble installing in the drivers side by tapping into the wires for the footwell light.

I cannot get the footwell light out in the passenger side, though. I can get under the edges with the pry tool but it will not pop out. I’m afraid I’m going to break it if I apply any more force.
Any advice?

It levers out, but only from one of the short edge sides, then you can disconnect the plug behind it. If one short edge doesn't budge, try the opposite end? Supposed to be the same/symetrical both sides. Good Luck.

Most of those panels can come out under the glove box, and tend to be held in by a couple of screws or bolts. Be sure to look at the driver's side lamp that you took out, for it should be very similar to the passenger side too, that can give you a clue on what end to remove first.

Thanks for the help. It finally popped out by using the trim tool on the short side closest to the seat.
