I've been trying to get my washer fluid tank out of the car and the only thing stopping me is this hose that seems to have a quick release connected to the end of it but I cant get it to disconnect when I pull the metal ring upwards. Are there any secret's to disconnecting this hose any information would be appreciated this is ridiculous. I circled the quick release in red on the photo's so you guys know what I'm talking about.

Pull the outer ring towards the tank and then pull on the hose as much as you can, probably it is inside completely dirty and stuck with dirt. I once had to take a complete valve from a tank and soak it in cleaning liquid, the valve was completely blocked inside with dried up "dishwasher" fluid, the owner used as detergent for washwater. Opens like any quick release valve.
In case you also want to open and clean the windshield washwater nozzles, I posted a pic of the innards here https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...ystem-89-750il
