Wiper Blades - e34 530iT, drivers side not a reverse J

New to us 1995 530iT (Touring) 04-95 build ..

Doing general stuff and wiper blades ordered using realoem as reference. I found though (and I never thought to look before ordering ) the the drivers side arm is NOT a reverse J as realoem shows. The drivers side blade (Bosch with spoiler) that came in is meant for a reverse J arm.
SO.. I have to assume that the PO's had replaced the arm at some point? whatever the case, will any J hook blade work (of the correct blade length)?

The reverse hook arms only affected the early cars like my 89.

Yeah, I remember having a nightmare with my 1990 because it was reverse J hook on the RHD drivers side (your passenger side ). So I couldn't order from US or Europe and local stock didn't have reverse J hook because it was early models only. When I got local trident brand heads they weren't reverse hook because the later ones weren't. They probably had no idea there was mid life changes (like brakes, hubs, door lock solenoids, MAFs etc). If you own a e34 you have got to become familiar with the changes in 91 and 92 (it wasn't just vanos)

If yours aren't reverse J hook then any aftermarket wiper will work.
