Hello,
I have a 2019 X3 with under 8k miles on it. I just drove it nearly the full length of the east coast and started getting low pressure warnings.
I went to two different garages and used their air pumps to put in the mfg recommended tire pressure - the gauges at both garages read the same pressure in all tires.
However, the software kept telling me the air pressure was low. So I reset the TPS.
It made all tires go green and the error go away, but, it is still showing them at low pressure levels - the same low pressure levels they were showing prior to me adding air even though the gauges at two garages show them at the recommended mfg pressure levels.
Has anyone has this (annoying) issue before? Putting air in tires and getting an accurate reading should simply not be this involved.
What’s the psi? Check the door jam for “proper” pressures. If your tires are inflated anywhere near the “proper” pressure then take the car to the dealer as its under warranty. These cars are rolling computers.
