    odd idle issue

ok... this is a weird one.... I have ran the smoke test a few times and cannot find any vacuum leaks. new tps that is completely adjusted according to bently. new accel cable.(i think it is adjusted correctly). New ICV 500 miles ago. New o2 sensor 500 miles ago. new valve and hose from charcoal canister.

On a fresh start, it idles at 800-900 which apparently is correct for dinan chip. (btw, i would be not opposed to swapping it out for something better. Opinions please?) after warm up and been driving for a little. It will idle between 1100-1200. I cannot find any vacuum leaks anywhere. Drives fine.

Any ideas what is going on? at this point i am beginning to think the chip may be going out. It was in there when my parents bought it in 2001. I think it was installed by a Dinan dealer in California.

    No e30s, again :(
your temp sensors/senders are all good? it seems the idle should be higher at cold start and lower when up to temp. that makes me think one of the temp related sensors might be out of spec
    No e30s again.
