    E32 Factory UV Windshield Sunshade

Does anyone have a part number for a factory E32 windshield sunshade? Checked realoem and didn't see one.

    Thanks!

that is not separately available, part of the windshield, based on my VIN there are
    Windshield, clear with anti-glare strip 51 31 1 938 510
    Green windshield 51 31 1 938 511
    Front windshield gold bronze 51 31 1 938 512 NLA
    Green windscreen, green shade band 51 31 1 938 513

ask a car glass shop if they can add it to your existing windshield

I think he means the cover that you unfold in place to protect the interior from the sun.
The sunshade for the E32 is part # 82111467113 but it's no longer available.
You might have luck finding one as old stock in a warehouse.

Or you could order one from the E38 7 series, maybe the size is similar enough: # 82111468940

Haha yes that's correct. I'm talking about the cover you unfold and place in the window to reflect the heat.

Is anyone using the E38 one? Does it fit?

I just use a universal sun shade from Wal Mart and it fits and performs just fine. Something to consider if an OE BMW is not available.

I got one from ECS tuning a few years back. They were on sale since they were NLA from BMW and limited stock. Limit one per order. Purchased one, logged back in to purchase a 2nd one, 2 mins later and they were no longer available. I think I got the last one that ECS tuning had.

Has anyone fitted an E34 or E38 UV shade with success, since the E32 version is NLA?
