Hello Forum,

I am new to the forum so feel free to let me know if I am posting this in the worng place. Also please point me in the right direction if a sticky exists somewhere with the info im looking for.
I am looking for winter tires and rimss for my brother's 2015 BMW 428I xdrive coupe.What size rims (size, offset, width, etc) will fit that model.

I'd recommend looking for a square tire set-up for winter, with an 18x8 wheel (et 35-30) shod with either a 225/45-18 tires or for more wet/dry cold performance and some snow trade-off, a 245/40-18 set.
I prefer Michelins but there are several solid choices - but I'd shoot for a true M+S snow tire not an all-season, and one that's high-load rated for the 4-series. If he's got the M Brakes, be sure to double-check the wheels fit, regardless of the offset (some don't).

+1 on the square set-up for winters. As you live in the snow belt, all-seasons are not good for winter time grip, and are okay in the summertime.

I would also look at a 17x7" rim with a 205 55 R-17 if no sport's brakes, and for as we all know a skinnier tyre will get you better grip in the snow too, tirerack.com should be able to get you the right tyres and rims.
