For sale are a set of Active Autowerke CSL/euro style equal length headers for S54 engine cars. Previously installed on my 2002 M coupe for about 1,800 miles. Made of 304 stainless steel, AA test fits all of their S54 headers on an S54 motor stand in house. Fitment was excellent on my M coupe per my mechanic. Also includes 6x BMW OE lightly used exhaust manifold gaskets & 2x gaskets that mount to the Section 1. I purchased these brand new directly from AA in January 2018.

Reason for selling is that I upgraded to a Supersprint stepped header setup, which retail for about 4 times as much as these. The AA CSL style headers sound great and are proven power adders versus the stock manifolds.

I'm actually curious if you noticed differences between the two headers????

Hey, Joe. Long time no talk, looks like you're a long way from FL! Hope all is well. I changed the diff to 3.73 at same time as the headers (as well as switching to louder SS Race muffler from SS Sport) so my butt dyno calibration is probably thrown off too much to be able to comment on that. My goal on the SS V2 was mostly to go "matchy matchy" with the rest of the exhaust system and simply to have (arguably) the best for what is the forever car. Routing of the stepped primaries of the SS V2 stepped headers vs the single diameter primaries of the AA/CSL style was somewhat different, but I'd estimate it to be a marginal difference overall.

Yeah, funny enough this is a step closer than where we were out in Hawaii for a year.
Seems like a similar (sweet) set up to mine minus the headers of course. I picked up a clean e46 M3 a while back with plans to keep that one stock; all together the z3 m with the diff, headers and exhaust - it's a world of a difference between the two cars.
Anyways, good luck with the sale and bump for a great guy!
