I've driven both BMW and Mercedes and have always liked the road hugging feeling, even the X3 and X5 give.
I've always wanted a wagon, instead of an SUV (high centre of gravity).
I've had the usual stuff happen, blown turbo intake pipes, blown water pumps, some funny 4x4 gear changing thing needed $200 special oil but that was about it, fair price to pay for luxury cars.
I've noticed the wagons don't seem to be as popular and wondering why?>
Anything I need to know about the 2019 320I M Sport (would think it's just the cosmetic pack)?> One I'm looking at has about 30,000kms on it

Perhaps where you are located, wagon are not that popular, but here in Europe it's like the pick-up or UTE.
As for any expensive car, I always recommend a PPI -> Pre-Purchase Inspection. Take it to a dealership and ask for one, or an Independant euro specialest.
As for the common problems, the B-48 motor replaced the N-20 series motor, and so far they seem to have fixed the timing chain issue.
