    Fan Motor Failure Question

I have a 2009 128i Coupe. It has 130k miles on it and last year the fan motor (for AC & heat) randomly stopped working. I purchased a new motor, installed it and it worked. Fast forward today and the new motor installed is no longer blowing air. It randomly stopped like the previous one. I now think I have a electrical problem and need some guidance.

I initially thought it was a bad fuse, but I am not experiencing any other electrical problems. Heated seats work, radio works, no flickering of interior lights. The battery was replaced over the summer too.

Also, I'm sure this is completely irrelevant, but the wheel sensor is likely destroyed due to a rusted axel. I shouldn't have any reason to think the two are connected right?

welcome to the forums, I will move the thread to the 1 sub forum where you will get help.
On older BMW like my E36 for the the blower motor control there is a FSU regulator which controls the blower motor speed. For example Blower motor resistor regulator for BMW E82/90/91/93 X5 F25 p/n 64119265892
Check if that fits your car with the VIN here http://bmwfans.info/

The speed of modern cars’ fans are controlled by pulse width modulation (PWM). The heat/AC fan and the electric fan under the hood are controlled via PWM. The heat/AC fan’s speed is controlled by the automatic climate control module (IHKA in BMWspeak). The speed of the fan under the hood is controlled by the engine computer (DME) via PWM.
