Hi i'm restoring a 525i with blue rear plate cluster version the ccm works but i did tests with pin 11 of x19 green socket ccm but own Fasten Belt doesn't want to know.
I believe but I'm not sure that this alert is only inserted in the coding plug 93c56 in miles per hour?
Does anyone know anything about it?
I live in Europe.
Ciao.
Yes, that FASTEN BELT warning is only in the North American market check control module. The EURO CCM does not have this. I remember on the German forum someone re-coded the CCM respectively the cluster chip for this many years ago.
Pin 11 on X19 is driver seat belt on the US CCM , we posted that back in 2006 http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/275437
X18 = 26 pins, blue plug
X19 = 26 pins, green plug
If you take a magnifying glass you can also see on the rim of the blue and green plug the numbers.
13......1
26.......14
13 and 26 are where the long "nose" is on the plugs.

Thank you for reply,but all warning message including F.b are stored in 93c56 eprom miles/km removable retro panel coding plug,ccm Euro/Usa or internal chip instrument cluster?
Stored in the cluster code plug. There are three versions of the instrument cluster all with their own code plug. You can't interchange the code plug in between the different versions, but you can swap the entire cluster.
Application date Back plate colour Code plug type Size Extra information
start ->02/89 Grey HML 075 2048 bytes No self test or diagnosis via Modic. Stops at 299960. code plug is non-standard
02/89 -> 09/90 White PIC 93C46 1024 bytes Self test + diagnosis via Modic. Code plug is standard EPROM
09/90 -> end Blue PIC 93C56 2048 bytes Self test + diagnosis via Modic. Code plug is standard EPROM
