I recently purchased a replacement oem stereo that was modified to have Bluetooth, its basically an OEM tape deck from the 90's fitted with a Bluetooth module.
When I installed the unit I was getting very noisy feed back on both the tape and AM setting which is the new Bluetooth option. Please see my video for exact issue. The replacement stereo is newer and slightly different . Could the new radio be pulling more power? I put the old deck back in and played a tape as loud as I could and I was not getting the feedback noise. Is this new unit faulty or can this be corrected? Please advise.

There may be a grounding issue somewhere within the stereo system. A lose ground/wire can cause the hum you are experiencing, especially whilst accelerating.
Perhaps checking the radio wiring/connection harness in the first instance. Worst case could be a wiring issue within the head unit itself as it has been modified (sorry I'm not too familiar with this set up). Hope this helps.
In newer head units, typically in the circuit, there's a tiny capacitor where its job is to suppress electrical interference noises, especially from the alternator. I'm just guessing here but maybe the circuitry modification somehow is interfering with the electrical noise suppression function or the gain for the bluetooth is turned up too high. Just a guess.
