    '85 528e Low-Beams won't turn on

    Hi all.

The two low-beam headlights 1985 528e wont turn on when I flick the switch all the way up. Signal/hazards gently glow when the switch is in the middle position and all the way up. When I turn high-beams on all 4 headlight bulbs turn on fine. I can flicker the lights as well. Fog toggle works too.

The issue doesn't seem to be the bulbs or the wiring at the base of the headlights under the hood, since all the lights turn on at high-beams. All connections in the fuse box seem to be in good shape. I'm thinking there might be an issue with the connection behind the dash, where I flick the switch.

Anyone able to shed some light on this before I try to unscrew the dash, or take it to a mechanic? Seems like it should be a pretty simple fix.

Could definitely provide pictures for clarification.

    Thanks for your help.
