    08 528I Brake pedal light

    Hello there!

    My 528i recently showed a foot covering a brake icon. I did a little research and someone suggested the brake pedal sensor was bad. I bought a new one and changed it. Its still throwing the same light and also a caution light.
    The car was also starting without my foot on the brake before i changed this sensor.....
    It was impossible to turn the car off if the key was anywhere in the car. I would literly have to move the key about 10 feet from the car to turn it off.

    I brought it to a mechanic and he reset all the codes....When I left the shop the same lights came back on within one mile.

    Any suggestions as where to turn next?
