    SAE J1532 as fuel line

Can I use SAE j1532 line as fuel hose? That's what auto zone gave me when I asked for fuel line, just want to confirm there's non-issue as I think it may be oil cooler hose.

I got home the other day and right when I got home my car started spewing gas all over the driveway. I guess the po installed fuel line that was a little too long from the fuel rail and pressure regulator to the hardline under the car. The steering column slowly rubbed a hole into the hose he installed. Thank goodness I made it home before it gave up.

I've had bad experience with fuel hose from the local parts stores. What finally worked for me is metric BMW hose from one of the online parts houses. The SEA stuff didn't fit correctly and leaked at the clamps. Others have not had a problem, me, not so lucky!

I put it on for now no leaks. Thanks for the advice though. It might be in my head but I feel like some stutter upon blips of the throttle has been eliminated. I always used to always smell a little gas upon parking. I wonder if an undetected pinhole leak in the fuel return line could cause issues like that? Anyways glad it's solved for now and didn't result in some kind of fire.
