I'm restoring my '96 318ic vert. It has vinyl interior that's in good condition. It just ha some ground in dirt that won't just wipe off. So I took a brush and some Mother's VLR and scrubbed a few areas. They do look much better and Mother's has a nice leather smell. But I thought i would ask if anyone has a better suggestion?
Thanks in advance
Hi I’m new here I just got a 95 525i e34. It was little uncared for still in good shape though. I used goop hand cleaner for the ground in stuff used a sponge with a green back For other tough marks I had good luck with purple power.
then I usEd a condition after wards let it set a couple of minutes before wiping it off. Came out nice. Hope it helps.
The trick is to clean it before applying some conditioner like the VLR. I would use a fine-hair brush (I like the one from Colourlock) with water, maybe with some meguiar's multipurpose cleaner. Because the E30 dash isn't too textured, some gentle scrubbing should get the job done.
I like the meguirs as it is satin not glossy/ shiny , but recently I tried the chemical guys natural shine product as well, and I like it even more. It is matte.
If I were to give my Touring a first name, I'd probably name it "Alan".
Mostly because I like puns.
