Hey guys,
Just a quick question on what parts should I definitely remove from my E36 before I bring the body to the scrap? This is my first part out and I can't keep the car at my house for long since the landlord doesn't want unregistered cars in the drive so I need to get rid of it asap. I've already removed the engine with trans, whole interior, wiring harness, and all internal wiring. Thanks in advance!

Differential and axles. Axles will probably be stuck in the hubs, especially in upstate NY so you may want to just cut them off so they aren't flopping around when you need to roll the car without the diff in it. The rear wheel bearings should have the axle stubs in them to keep the hubs in place but those bearings are pressed in so tightly that it isn't going to come apart without the stubs in place.
Just dropped the entire subframe today to make the disassembly easier. (Thank god for PB blaster! Went through an entire 'big shot' can during this whole partout) Then I'll just set the rest back on so the car can roll. Another related question, how can I tell what ratio the diff is? I know its an LSD so it's not stock but thats it.
There is a small metal tag on the rear of the diff where these details are mentioned. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-P..._172840498.jpg
The most accurate way to find out is take the rear cover off and count the teeth on the ring and pinion gears. Also remove all modules, relays, cluster, OBC.

I finally got the diff out today and that tab is rusted right out. I'll open it I guess. I pulled all of that thanks for the comment!
