I need some help in de-coding the following two messages that I have been receiving on my Dashboard:
- The first code is: TR03
- The second Code is: TR04
I have looked all over the web an have not been able to find out what these are or what they mean.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

Did the code just appear or did it appear after work was done on the car

jclausen, it just randomly appears. No work has been done on it.

Do you have a CD changer? My first thought is track 03 & track 04. And since there are multiple displays in a BMW...when you say “dashboard” are you referring to your MID or Nav screen display...or your instrument cluster display (in front of the steering wheel)?
Does it look like the pic below (cluster display)...then that is your CD changer communicating what track is up for being played (a pic is worth a thousand words):
