M54B30 gasket question help

Hi, so I’m building an m54b30 over the winter but don’t know what gasket sets to order. I want a complete gasket set but one, I can’t find anywhere that sells a good complete set besides the Chinese junk on eBay, and two all the head gasket sets I’ve found fit either motors produced before 09/2002 or after 09/2002. I dont know the production date of my motor so I don’t know what gasket set to order. What’s the difference in the kits or how can I tell my production date?

The place to go is FCPEuro. Call the tech line and ask them how to determine the engine’s build date. Order the gasket set from them. Make sure the gasket set is made by the supplier to BMW. FCPEuro gives everything it sells a lifetime warranty.
