If it was sitting for 10 years, I'd really check the fuel tank and check out the fuel lines, fuel rail, etc. Old fuel will have all kinds of crud in it that will cause the injectors to perform badly or not at all.
My '84 633csi sat in a barn for 20 years and I had all kinds of problems until I removed and cleaned the fuel tank and replaced the return fuel line as flush the fuel rail and regulators. Probably a good idea to replace all the rubber fuel line components. They will leak.
