hello everyone, I have searched online without success.
My situation is the back window will not go down. I have pulled the regulator and motor, the regulator is in great working condition and I also greased it and moves very fluid. I purchased new motor and switch with motor connected to power it will respond to up switch but not down. I have checked fuses and also replaced the relay with no luck. Thanks ahead for any help you can provide.
Have you tested the switch? Is the motor getting power when you press down? Another thing that can be causing the problem is the GM-5 module, which controls the power window, have a look here: www.bmwgm5.com

We had a tech, not very good one, was looking at an e46 window stuck down we ordered a window regulator in case we needed it so he puts it in, won’t work, tells us it needs a motor puts it in won’t work it was the switch, idiot
