    dssr fitment trouble.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my shifter and I planned to install the dual shear selector rod because I heard it is better than the stock one. I connected it on one side but I cannot connect it to the shifter because the shifter arm is blocking it from getting far enough up. Do I need a new shifter arm?

Also I copied the instructions off a post I'll link below. and yes I bought the right dssr for IX.

i believe you have it in backwards. It only goes in one way. It is hard to tell, but if you take it out and put it on a flat surface, you will see the difference.
