2007 X3 No Start

Purchased an 07 X3,previous owner exploded front driveshaft shut it off and parked for a cpl months. It wont turn over, have code 2F4A DME interface EWS Immobilizer DME. No power at white wire that goes to the starter, put power to that wire and starter turns over. Read where the key may need to be replaced as it lost power from low battery causing the immobilizer to lose alignment with the DME?

Any one have similar issues and how did you fix it?

Another X3 no start issue, this one has code DME Wire Blocked in live data screen.... Any ideas?
